Everyone knows the old saw “those who can, do; those who can’t, teach.”

Here’s the helpdesk version: “Those who can, work on the helpdesk.  Those who can’t, call those who can.”

The Salary Lemma: “Those who can (and who work on the helpdesk) make a lot less than those who can’t.”
